Spring time in the NZ bush is a great time of the year for harvesting wild food.

The bees are making fresh honey, to feed their larvae and all the plants are thriving.

Food is plentiful for man and beasts. I go bush for two days without taking any food with me.

Just my two hunting dogs, knife & 44.

This is a food gathering & cooking video but without any graphic hunting scenes.

It is my first time using a canon 70D so please bear with me if some of the images are not quite in focus.
